PROTECTION AGAINST FIRE

Basis of the new enactment in fire protection sector are two Acts that entered into force on 1st April 2002:

    1. Act of the Slovak National Council No. 314/2001 Coll. on fire protection in accordance with later approved regulations.
    2. Act of the Slovak National Council No. 315/2001 Coll. on Fire and Rescue Service in accordance with later approved regulations.

The Act of the Slovak National Council No. 314/2001 Coll.:
- confers a part of state administration power in fire protection sector on municipality,
- assesses further duties that have to be performed by municipality.
